Maryland Sheep and Wool!
I'm counting the days until Maryland! Four of my favorite fiber friends (just try saying THAT five times fast!) and I will pile into Mary's spiffy (and spacious) new vehicle, at way-too-early o'clock, and we'll trundle down I-95 (um, I think it's I-95) to the awesomest sheep and wool festival ever.
At least I know that many of you will be able to relate to what I am about to admit: I am planning to bring my tiniest overnight bag, so that my share of the wayback can be filled with what I buy, not with what I bring.
Many of my purchases will be for personal use (why does that suddenly sound like I'm making a trip to Amsterdam or something? Ahem.) but my big goal is to find some new vendors for the store. That's where YOU come in.
Tell me who to go see! Who is your favorite vendor who might be interested in selling to a yarn store? Put it in a comment or send email, either is fine. I'm especially looking for people who are doing unusual things, or who have really special yarns, and who aren't already in lots of stores.

I will be there on Saturday! I'll look out for you. I love Green Mountain Spinnery, their Alpaca is wonderful. I'll let you know if I see anything else that might be interesting!
