Vendors to seek at Rhinebeck?

Hey, y'all!

Barring disaster, I'll be at the Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Festival this weekend, affectionately referred to by everyone as simply Rhinebeck.

I've already got several vendors that I know I want to talk to there, about carrying their fibers and yarns at Yarnivore. Who do you recommend? Here's your chance to influence what gets carried here in Brooklyn!

Thanks in advance, and let me know if you'll be there -- I'll be the purple-haired gal there on Sunday.

UPDATE!: I'll be there on Saturday, not Sunday, thanks to the kind folks at the NYC Stitch and Bitch who arranged a bus to go to Rhinebeck. My husband Francis (who knits!) will be minding the shop for me on Saturday.

Koigu! Manos! More Koigu! Celestial Merino!

Sorry I'm going to miss you. I'll be the red-and-purple-haired gal there on Saturday. I'm planning to pop by to check out your new store soon, though.

Good luck!

Ooh, those Celestial Merino yarns are awesome! That's exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about. I probably will carry Manos at some point; I don't know if I'll carry Koigu. Purl (in Soho) has an excellent selection, and that would be hard to compete with.

My goal is to get in some yarns that no one else in the city is carrying, whether they are handpainted, or just from small producers. I'm *so* looking forward to Rhinebeck!
