Spin, baby, spin!
The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival rocked. Sheep! And yarn! And wool! And cool people! Knitbloggers and shop owners and sheep fanatics and locals, all wandering around eating lamb bbq and fried twinkies and other excellent victuals.
I met Bonne Marie and Theresa, and they were both gorgeous and gracious and fun as all-get-out to hang with. I met a million vendors, and saw unbelievably beautiful yarn -- all of which needed to come home with me.
Unfortunately, only some of the yarn and wool came home with me. But it was the niftiest most wonderful stuff, of course -- I'll take photos at home and post all the goodies I brought home.
Whee! If you can possibly make the trip, Maryland is really incredibly fun. Who needs roller coasters when you can both eat midway food and browse spinning wheels? Not me!
