Now That's What I Call Ghosts Laughing

Halloween is nearly upon us, and you know what that means: time for novelty Halloween songs!

Earlier this month, Lorinne was telling me about a CD she acquired at Disneyland circa 1999, in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion, which featured a track she particularly loved, in which Paul Frees (the voice of the Ghost Host, as well as the voice of Ludwig von Drake and many other characters) provided some samples of ghost laughter. "I would love to hear a remix of just those laughs," she said, or something to that effect. Then she added, "So you should do that." Well, I'm nothing if not suggestible. I think we bandied about a few possible titles ("Ghosts on 45"? I can't remember now), but "Now That's What I Call Ghosts Laughing" was the clear winner. And now you can enjoy the result.

Ahhhh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Fireball + Onion = one of those exploded-looking onion appetizer thingies, I guess

I have a new crossword out next Wednesday on Peter Gordon's Fireball Crosswords -- which is subscription only, though it's a good deal, at less than 20 cents per puzzle. It's a collaboration with Patrick Blindauer, which we've had in the works on and off for probably over a year now. If you don't want to subscribe, you can still do one of my puzzles, though -- here's my latest Onion crossword, which I forgot to link to when it came out a few weeks ago.

(Download Across Lite to solve one or both of the above.)
