There is an overabundance of crossword puzzles by me this week -- today I'm in the New York Sun. You can grab it here (right-click on June 14 to save). It was described by test-solvers as "really hard", apparently.

Posted by: Eric Berlin at June 14, 2007 05:25 AMIt should have been a Friday Weekend Warrior rather than a Themeless Thursday, if you ask me. Or maybe I was just tired.
Posted by: Orange at June 14, 2007 09:43 AMi posted a comment in orange's blog thanking you for such a great puzzle experience, then realized you may not see it. so...
that was my 1st sun puzzling after years of doing the times and if this puzzle is any indication, i'll be hooked for life.
also, i just had to write a quick blog post about the burqini. hope you don't mind. you can read it here: http://cornbreadhell.blogspot.com/
thanks again,
rick
I didn't find it *too* bad, though (a) I did get stuck in the upper right and eventually finished it only by utterly misguessing 16A, getting the third and seventh letters wrong but giving me enough to fill in the rest, and (b) ending up with four wrong squares (i.e. those two and the two above them).
I think there were lots of pop culture references that I happened to know this time--41D, 18A, 30A. And then perhaps a few inspired guesses.
