I just learned that there is a cat reality TV show in which ten cats from shelters around the country are all put in one house to compete for the position of "Feline Vice President of Research and Development" for Meow Mix. (The main job duty seems to be taste-testing.) More info -- and a photo of the cutthroat action -- is here.

I guess it's more of a series of cat reality TV commercials than an actual TV show, since it only airs for three minutes (during All New Planet's Funniest Animals on Animal Planet)...but still. Pretty amusing. I hope there's a "shedding on black clothing" challenge.
