But can he do "Eruption"?

Debby sent me a link to some very impressive ukulele playing. Damn, now my perpetual background urge to buy myself a ukulele is rising to the surface again!

I have 2 and I'll sell you one cheap. Let me know!

That is impressive, if a bit perverse. (Less so than if it had been a trombone, I suppose.)

Nice.

The spelled ukulele, but that's just my own issue.

and I spelled "They" wrong.

I do have issues.

In case any if you are wondering, I am going to take Devery up on her offer of a used ukulele. I'm excited! Now, I don't suppose any of you have extra accordions, mandolins, or marimbas lying around?

Well, there's this accordimandorimba I was working on, but it's really just a prototype.

I am pretty sure that is Jake Shimabukuro. He rocks. (I may be wrong as to the identity, but Jake still rocks.)

More research shows that it is Jake in the video. And... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake_shimabukuro Read second paragraph. Now to find _that_ video...

We got one for Milo for $20. I'm sure he'll let you borrow it.

I think you'll enjoy attempting to play the ukulele. My sister got me one for my last birthday (she has a soprano and a baritone), and I'm hooked. It's easy to learn and great for taking to parties. A good site for when you're learning :

http://www.alligatorboogaloo.com/uke/

Has fingerings for chords using several tunings, and a whole list of community submitted tabs for a variety of songs (with fingerings for all the chords used in the songs).

If you have any questions about getting started, shoot me an email!

By the way, I love your Six Things, which is what hooked me on your blog in the first place.
