Grimmest. Spam. Ever.

Seems like I've been getting a lot more Nigerian scam e-mails lately. Unlike regular spam, I actually enjoy receiving such messages, because they're always phrased so wonderfully. Just now, I received one that began with this dark thought:

As you read this, I don't want you to feel sorry for me, because I believe everyone will die one day on this earth.

And on that note, I think I'll have some breakfast.

I love how this person thinks s/he'll get people to send money just from a hard-luck story that defies belief... but won't go out on a limb any further than "I believe everyone will die one day."

You know, I disagree. I don't believe everyone will die. Some of us (you know who you are) are immortal.

Well, there's this news item around that the biggest spammer in Russia has been bludgeoned to death. One of those times where ppl can gloat w/o feeling guilty. And a befitting cause of death, too.

Geez, unless it's the same day, I think we're in good shape. Nice panhandling, Nostradamus!
