Wow, video did indeed kill the radio star. I am surprised there wasn't an Apache ghost uprising. (now that would be a good video!)

Just wow. Remember a little while back when OutKast dressed up as Native Americans for a "Hey Ya" performance? And THAT was considered offensive.
I'm currently trying to come up with a really offensive joke to tell alongside that video; I'm thinking of something along the lines of having RedMan (of Method and Red) do a cover.

Yeesh, it felt like a segment on "Where the Action Is" (a daily afternoon teenybopper show of the '60s).

But I must admit I came back today and watched it a second time, to make sure I didn't imagine it.

That video's narrative value could have been upped considerably by having the other members of the band have closeup "asides" into the camera every now and then as though to say, "What an asshole."
