Coworkers Andrew and Emily have been contributing to my productivity today by directing me to some motivational music videos. Feel free to watch them while I train to be in shape for the long jump in time for Mother's Day:
Mr. T vs. people who don't respect their mothers. (Update: Site is down, but see the comments for alternatives.)
I'm afraid I must insist that you watch both videos to the bitter end.
Posted by Francis at 11:40 AM | TrackBackI watched the second one but I'm getting a 404 error on the Mr T video. Try this link instead: http://www.compfused.com/directlink/736/
Oh, that's really too bad about the Mr. T video -- the alternative site doesn't have the intro skit or the full video coda, both of which are priceless. I'll see if I can find an alternative source.
Posted by: Francis at April 20, 2005 12:34 PMWhen exactly did Carl Lewis turn into Grace Jones, anyway? There are moments in the video where the resemblance is disturbing.
Posted by: Trip at April 20, 2005 01:16 PMApparently offering a respite from the disturbing things happening during so many of the other moments.
Posted by: Francis at April 20, 2005 01:19 PMNot only was that clearly Grace Jones, but she took a sauna with someone who looks like a cross between Elayne Boosler and my stepmother.
"Ne pas deranger" indeed.

Posted by: Jim at April 20, 2005 08:00 PMNow why did that Carl Lewis video have to go and ruin a perfectly good song like that?
