Francis - good job on the Six Things comics. Every single one has made me laugh out loud. (Maybe because of the "six punchlines, six chances to laff" thing ... is it cheating to do that?)

I was going to say, "Yes, it is cheating -- you're on to me"...but then I realized: is it cheating to release an album with 10 songs, when most of them are filler? Think about that, Mr. I-Wrote-"Zanzibar".

Holy crap. I just read your Eugene Mirman interview in Stay Free! I'm a little freaked out, since I went to college with you and worked the Comedy Studio with Eugene...very, very weird.

Your stuff is great, though that's not surprising...

What can I say? Once a guy has gotten away with self-declaring himself "THE Piano Man," it's all too easy to just coast on your past successes. (Actually, what I'm most proud of is that I totally got away with the lyric "making love to his tonic and gin," which is not metaphorical, but a reference to a perversion beyond the ken of both hentai fans and Brian Eno.
