Editorial cartoon? More like lame-itorial car-suck!
Regular Heaneyland readers will recall that I am no fan of the New York Post's hack editorial cartoonist Sean Delonas. So, sure, I rolled my eyes at yesterday's fish-in-a-barrel bit of Martha Stewart mockery, but I really didn't expect him to be lame enough to use the exact same joke for two days running.

I'm not sure you get it. See, yesterday's cartoon was to set up today's. The joke of course being, it's far too early in the season for fuschia.
Also, he ought to have a little more confidence in his drawing ability. As caricatures go, I've seen a lot worse. Surely he trusts his reader to look at that picture and see that it's Martha Stewart, at least by the context.
It's not as though Geraldine Ferraro is just out of the can, after all.
