He very pointedly mentioned that he wasn't going to mention the note about the typeface. What is that about?

Hey! It took two weeks from when I got copies, but my book is finally available. (I presume if Amazon and Barnes & Noble are selling them online, that stores probably have their copies by now too -- although you can bet I'll be swinging by a few very soon to see for myself.) Anyway, I know at least two people have their copies, and one of them has posted a review which probably quite accurately predicts my book's potential for inducing great wealth in its author.

How can you have Will Shortz blurb it and not saying something along the lines of "What's a five-letter word for Francis Heaney? Funny!" Come on, that's gold.

When I looked it up in Borders last month, it listed the author as Richard Thompson. Love it.

It wasn't as crazy a mistake as it sounds -- Richard Thompson is the illustrator. (A different guy than the onetime Fairport Convention guitarist. Although if the other Richard Thompson wants to come play lead guitar on some of my songs, I'm amenable.)
